Cattle vets in Mid Wales

For cattle, we offer a full range of services including routine fertility visits, artificial insemination, regular daytime visits and a 24-hour emergency service.

An ultrasound scanner is available for pregnancy diagnosis and other diagnostic examinations, and an in house laboratory for further diagnostic tests. Close links with the local veterinary laboratory also allow access to additional diagnostic support when needed. Herd health plans can be provided as well as testing for bull fertility.

We pride ourselves on being progressive and using preventive medicine whenever possible. Our aim is to get to the root cause of diseases or poor production and prevent these problems by improving husbandry, buildings and using vaccination where appropriate.

Sheep vets in Mid Wales

For sheep, we offer a wealth of experience in improving flock health, trying to prevent disease where ever possible. Farmers are encouraged to join Sheep Club, which holds regular meetings and discussion groups on all sheep matters.

Full diagnostic services are available, through a combination of our in-house laboratory and support from the local VLA. We prepare flock health plans where required. Sheep requiring treatment or testing normally come into our purpose built lambing rooms, and we also test rams for fertility.

Best practise advice on worming is available, and we perform routine muck sample analysis for worms at our branches.
